Mayor of Stockholm Congratulates Smart21 of 2010

In a video address, the Mayor of Stockholm, Sweden (2009 Intelligent Community of the Year) congratulated the communities named to ICF's Smart21 Communities of 2010.  Mayor Sten Nordin describes the features of Stockholm that made it the current Intelligent Community of the Year and welcomes the latest group of Intelligent Communities to our global alumni.

Alcatel-Lucent Video Promotes Australia's National Broadband Network

Alcatel-Lucent has produced a video, posted to YouTube and "targeted at mums and dads" in which it "seeks to overcome the widespread misunderstanding that the National Broadand Network is just about 'faster Internet' and in which it tells views that the NBN is "every Australian's right."

Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada Named to Top Seven Intelligent Communities of 2009

To celebrate its selection as one of ICF's 2009 Top Seven Intelligent Communities, Moncton produced a dynamic animated video explaining the community's journey from a declining "railroad town" in the 1980s to the fastest-growing municipality in Atlantic Canada.

Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada Named to Top Seven Intelligent Communities of 2009

When Fredericton was named as one of ICF's 2009 Top Seven Intelligent Communities for the second year in a row, it produced a video describing the city's transformation from an institutional economy to an entrepreneurial economy based on broadband communications, and home to more entrepreneurs per capita than any other city in Canada.
